Thatohatsi Mononyane from Gauteng Province, South Africa, is a passionate actress with a background rooted in Method Acting, honed through her studies at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles, where she earned an Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree in 2024.
With a strong foundation in performing arts, Thatohatsi has embraced diverse roles that challenge her creativity and range. Most recently, Thatohatsu was cast in a film project where she is diligently using the skills she’s learned throughout her training to bring life to her character in a professional setting.
Thatohatsi’s expertise extends beyond acting—she is also a successful model, having collaborated on brand campaigns such as Avon South Africa and GynaGuard.
Thatohatsi also graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa in 2021. During her time studying the business of Fashion, she had the chance to work in the costume department for a feature film, gaining valuable insight into the collaborative process of bringing stories to life from all angles.
These multifaceted experiences, combined with her determination and love for storytelling, positions her as a dynamic talent in the entertainment industry.
