How I changed the lower transmission linkage bushing which results in play in the shifter and may prevent the car from starting in park or neutral. It usually the lower blushing which is a problem, although the upper one exists but needs to be accessed through the interior of the car. REMEMBER TO PUT THE PARK BRAKE ON AND CHOCK THE CAR! It took about half hour as I was lying on my back under car stands, without a hoist! Note I am an hobbyist not a mechanic so manage as you see fit
