The Lost City is a 2022 American romantic adventure comedy film directed by Aaron Nee and Adam Nee, who co-wrote the screenplay with Oren Uziel and Dana Fox, from a story conceived by Seth Gordon. The film stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum with Daniel Radcliffe, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Brad Pitt and Dwayne Johnson in supporting roles.

In October 2020, it was announced that Sandra Bullock would star in the film The Lost City of D, with Aaron and Adam Nee directing from a screenplay by Seth Gordon and Dana Fox, with Bullock serving as a producer under her Fortis Films banner, and Paramount Pictures to distribute. In December 2020, Channing Tatum joined the cast of the film.In March 2021, Patti Harrison, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Daniel Radcliffe joined the cast of the film In April 2021, Brad Pitt and Oscar Nunez joined the cast of the film, with Pitt appearing in a cameo role.

Principal photography began in May 2021 and took place in the Dominican Republic, including Samaná, Santo Domingo, Casa de Campo, Monte Plata Province and Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios.Filming wrapped on August 16, 2021.

The Lost City had its world premiere at South by Southwest this evening night, and will be theatrically released in the United States on March 25, 2022, by Paramount Pictures (France, April 20, 2022).

Synopsis :
Loretta Sage, a brilliant but reclusive novelist, is known for her books mixing romance and adventure in exotic settings. Alan, a model, has spent most of his career as Dash, the plastic hero featured on the covers of Loretta's books. While promoting her new novel with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who believes she can help him find the treasure of a lost city mentioned in his latest book. Determined to prove that he can live up to the hero he is in the books, Alan sets out to rescue the novelist. Thrust into a great adventure in the heart of a hostile jungle, this unlikely duo will have to team up to survive and try to get their hands on the ancient treasure before it disappears forever.
