Goudsmit & Automation - Laser Welding Magnetic Bars

This video highlights Goudsmit’s latest step in modernising production: an automated laser welding set-up for series production of magnetic bars. With a speed of 12 bars per minute, the system welds bar casings using a custom 3D-printed cogwheel assembly and extensive programming. After welding, the bars continue to assembly, where they are filled with their magnetic cores.
