I broke my 335is! Common issues with the BMW 335is & 335i? (N54)

What's up fam? Today’s video, I will tell you about the times my 335is broke on me.

All the issues I mention here can be applied to the following N54-equipped vehicles:

BMW 135i (E82/E88)
BMW 1M Coupe (E82)
BMW 335i (E90, E91, E92)
BMW 335is (E92)
BMW 535i (E60)
BMW 740i (F01)
BMW X6 (E71)
BMW Z4 (E89)

I have been fortunate enough not to have encountered these problems. This list was created after researching over the time that I have owned the car and through personal experience, research, and internet forums.

The items that have broke on my car:

1. Charge Pipe
2. Coil packs and plugs.

Issues I Mention In the Video:

1. Turbo rattle and turbo failure
2. High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) failure
3. Water pump and thermostat failure
4. Carbon buildup - mainly on the intake valves
5. Fuel injector failure
6. Oil filter housing gasket leak
7. Serpentine belt shredding
8. Valve cover cracking and valve cover gasket leaks
9. Oil pan gasket leaks
