Why Bergen is our Favourite City in Norway

Oh Bergen. You have truly stolen our hearts ❤️

From the Bergensbanen train journey, to the epic views of Mt. Floyen, all the way down to the salty seafront's fish soup, Bergen didn't miss a beat 🐟

The Bryggen is a really notable location on the seafront with a line of colourful houses nestled together, sheltering small alleyways of quaint quirky shops. Art, souvenirs, beautiful trinkets, you name it. You have to check out the Bryggen:

We also had the luxury of staying in a great hotel; Finnegården, literally round the corner to the Bryggen, in the heart of Bergen city.
As well as being a great location, it was a fantastic place to stay. Clean, amazing breakfast 🤤 and they also have English Breakfast tea for those Brits who can't hack a day or two without it!

As for the train line; Bergensbanen, train prices range from 1069 NOK (about £73) to 1399 NOK (about £95), depending on the time of day you depart.
