Scrapbook Tips 17 | Photo Organization + Disney Layout Planning

I walk through how I identify photos from specific days at Magic Kingdom, then narrow in on images from the Big Thunder Mountain attraction. From there, I talk through how I define favorites and decide which photos best support the story I want to tell on a single layout.

I also share two different layout sketch options and explain the criteria I use to choose between them — what each option emphasizes, how the photos would flow, and which feels like the strongest match for this particular story.

Along the way, I touch briefly on how I use Trello to catalog and track my Disney and Magic Kingdom stories to tell — not as a system tutorial, but as a way to hold space for future storytelling and keep meaningful memories from getting lost.

Finally, I share a peek at some hybrid elements from Kellybell Designs that I’ll be using on the finished layout, which will publish two days after this planning video.

This isn’t about finishing a page — it’s about slowing down, making intentional choices, and letting the story lead the process.
