Potato Harvest by the moonlight.

Harvesting some of the remaining potatoes in the garden.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: During the video you hear me converse with Miss Sprinkles about slugs causing damage to one or two of the potatoes.
It's blight damage. Not slugs. But I didn't want Miss Sprinkles getting the idea there was something off about the potatoes she was harvesting for her dinner and then not eating them. We picked her up quite late and she was tired but she was determined to pick the potatoes for tomorrows dinner before she went to bed.
Of course we'll have a conversation about blight and how it affects leaves stems and tubors and I'll show her all the stages but just not tonight 😁
Potato blight needs a host so once all the stems leaves and any affected tubors are removed it has nothing to survive on and will disappear.
And she's going through that funny fussy stage they all do and after seeing the mush and smelling that smell I didn't want her to get the idea all the tubors would be affected like that. Which of course they won't be and weren't. The ones we harvested will be eaten tomorrow and Monday as they most likely won't store well although I mention they will in the video.
Sorry for the confusion but I hope you read this before watching the video so it makes a bit more sense.
Sorry Miss Sprinkles I know you'll read this eventually but it was late, you were tired, it was dark and I didn't want you going off those lovely potatoes we just harvested 😁

I also have a horrible cold and chest infection so please excuse the rasping, sniffling and snorting.
At the end of this month I'll have a new computer and software and audio so I can get back to doing essential edits and make better videos, or at least ones as bad as before the great laptop disaster, rather than just straight out of this ancient phone.
