notes on this game and this character:
this game has many versions: "910214 JAPAN", "910306 JAPAN", "910411 JAPAN", "911210 JAPAN", and any more. in addition to these, "USA (North-American version)" and "ETC (International version)" are exist, and those also have several versions each others. this can be easily identified by the text displayed on the screen when the game-system-board is started up. however, you would hardly feel the difference between them, unless you play this game with your aiming to make a high-score.

there are minor differences from version to version, but particularly "GUILE" is affected heavily. and also, the most noticeable difference that affects a playhtrough of the high-score-challenge is having or not having of a significant lowering of COM's difficulty in relation to the durability and the reaction, and it is caused by the making more than 7 accumulative DKOs or draw-games during a stage. this difference is caused by the earlier version before "910411".

because GUILE's "Flash-Kick" has big differences in regards to "recovery-time" and "hit-box", his performance as a playable-character varies greatly by version. and also, the glitch techniques as represented by GUILE's "Invisible-Throw" can or can not do depending on its version. by the above described, it is a must that you get the version of "910411" or "910522" to play with it, if you want to try to make a high-score record using GUILE seriously.
