Feds Cut Office in Charge of Setting Poverty Guidelines

Recent firings at the US Department of Health and Human Services included the entire office that sets federal poverty guidelines. Some say the firings could lead to cuts in assistance to low-income families next year unless the Trump administration restores the positions or moves its duties elsewhere. We explain.
