Turns out it is possible to get a wicked thunderstorm show during winter! Nothing is impossible in Australia haha.
15th of June 2025, a beautiful sunny morning with a humid warm afternoon, random development started happening west of Penrith moving inland slowly, eventually forming into a Red Thunderstorm on radar producing Lightning.
Getting closer to Sydney, it dissolved, and the re developed shortly after passing Parramatta.
I heard rumbles in the distance, and not too long after the show has began :)
I can definitely say this is the best Thunderstorm we have had during winter in a very very long time! I can't even remember one haha.
