In this presentation during the September 2017 workshop on Understanding the Role of Muscle and Body Composition in Studies of Cancer Risk and Prognosis in Cancer Survivors, Dr. Stevens discusses the development of equations that use anthropometrics to predict percent body fat that are nationally representative and the external validation of those equations. She urges investigators to utilize their existing data sets rich in terms of anthropometry and cancer outcomes to explore exciting novel associations with disease at a low cost.
