First Time Backpacking Overnight With My Dog

In this adventure I (Jonathan) go on my first solo backpacking overnighter. But I'm accompanied by my good buddy Loki, a 5 month old Catahoula Leopard Dog. So is it really a solo backpacking trip, I dunno?? Let me know in the comments below what you think :)
I wanted to see what it was like backpacking with a dog... how he acts around camp, sleeping in a tent, whether or not he stays with me and doesn't run off chasing wildlife, etc. So we stay pretty close to home, just in case we need to bail.
We only hike in about a half mile and setup camp on a gravel bar on the Finley River in Ozark, Missouri. We build a fire, cook some dinner, and just enjoy the peacefulness the outdoors provide. I'm excited to bring my dog Loki on another backpacking trip in the near future, one where we hike more miles and stay out in the wilderness for a couple of nights. I hope you enjoy watching this video and meeting Loki for the first time!
