Ou Cheng Ji Wonton Noodles, a iconic Cantonese delicacy in Guangzhou, was established in the 1940s and renowned for its handmade shrimp wontons and bamboo-pressed noodles, earning a reputation as one of the "Four Great Wonton Noodle Masters." The wontons feature fillings of fresh shrimp, pork, and dried flounder paste, wrapped in thin, silky skins. The bamboo-pressed noodles, made with duck eggs and wheat flour, boast a springy texture. The broth, simmered with pork bones, dried flounder, and shrimp roe, is rich and aromatic.
