How to make soft plastic molds, and lures. The easiest way to make your own mold, and lures for bass fishing or any type of fish in general. This video shows you how to make a mold in a couple easy steps. Making your own baits is a great way to recycle old plastics that would otherwise be tossed in the lake or into the trash.
Step 1: Glue desired bait to bottom of selected mold container
Step 2: Mix plaster of paris and pour it over the baits
Step 3: Let it dry for at least an hour
Step 4: After it is hardened remove baits
Step 5: Clean up mold if necessary then epoxy over the cavities
Mold is completed
Step 1: Cut up and heat used soft plastics for 2-3 minutes
Step 2: Pour liquid plastic into the cavities
Step 3: Let it dry for 1-2 minutes
Step 4: Enjoy!!!
