Finally, after few weeks, I had some time to play around with my toys. This 100% dawless jam features the Roland JX-08, Arturia Microfreak, Korg Volca FM and Elektron Model:Samples. All 3 synths are being sequenced with Arturia Keystep Pro: JX-08 part A for bass and part B for chords, Volca FM for arp, Microfreak for the main lead. Model:Samples plays all drums + lo-fi piano and string stabs. Actually, this is my first jam using the JX-08, which is an amazing synth, specially because it is bi-timbral allowing you to play completely different sounds independently and at the same time! In addition, it has great built in effects which can be applied to each part! In this case I used chorus for bass and delay + reverb for chords. The Keystep Pro is sequencing the JX-08 on track 1 and 2, other two tracks are for the Microfreak and the Volca. For effects for the MF and Volca I used a pair of Zoom MS-70CDRs.
