In this vlog, I travel to Matka lake which can be done as a day trip from Skopje! You will be awestruck with the amount of natural beauty this place has- the Treska river, age-old monasteries, the artificial Matka lake, and the 8-mile boat ride to the Vrelo caves are some things that you are going to see here. Upon reaching Matka lake, I also noticed there is a pretty hotel( link below) right in the Matka lake canyon which I think one should consider when exploring this region. Wish I knew about it before. haha!
