70-year-old male victim was shot

First aid was administered but victim succumbed to injuries

2️⃣ ATTEMPTED CARJACKING:

Suspect forced female driver out of vehicle at gunpoint
Victim managed to escape to safety

3️⃣ HOME INVASIONS:

Attempted entry at Hermanos Street and Eaton Drive
Forcibly entered a home in 500 block of Sunnyslope Avenue
Took resident hostage

4️⃣ POLICE ENGAGEMENT:

Suspect engaged in gunfire with police
Hostage escaped
Incident ended with suspect's death
