MATT & KATIE MUSIC BIO:

Matt and Katie Gustafson are a husband/wife team who love making music of all kinds together, particularly for their instruments of cello and piano. Their mission as a duo is to create art that inspires and uplifts the soul for the glory of God. As a cellist, Matt has performed in concert halls across the country such as Walt Disney and Carnegie Hall and collaborated with a variety of artists including Andrea Bocelli, Christopher Cross, and Josh Garrels. He received his BM in Cello Performance from Rice University and his MM from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the Austin Symphony and, as a multi-instrumentalist, serves as the worship director for Glad Tidings Church in Central Austin. Katie received her BM from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her MM and Doctorate in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at Austin. She continues to teach private lessons and gig in the Austin, TX area. Most importantly, Matt and Katie are passionate about spending time raising their two boys, doing life in community, and getting out in nature.
