Time for tea, on a newly repurposed space in my garden.
The area beside the house has never really found a true use. Too shady for veg, too small for a picnic bench and convenient for flat pack & diy. With potting up and arranging containers by the steps it's a flexible area.
However, I wanted somewhere to sit for a cuppa free of mud and close to the house.
Part one is my tidying, lifting stones and paying bark.
Still to do: dig further back, place raised bed and fence to make the area dog proof. Add posts for a canopy sail overhead that will keep me dry. I would also love a gas fire pit (our village has a lot of moaning about smoke) but that is a way off.
