The version of “Bend Me Shape Me” on the album of the same name clocks in at 2,25 (both mono and stereo versions). For the 45, the title was speeded up to 2,05.
This alternate stereo version clocks in at 2,14, so it’s in between the two better known versions.
The original 45 reached #5 in early 1968. In the UK, it made it to #24, having to fend off a cover version by Amen Corner. The “Bend Me Shape Me” album reached #99 in the US – the group’s only album to chart.
