Convicted Killer's Father Speaks to Murdered Girlfriend's Family

The father of Jason Chen briefly spoke during his sentencing on Tuesday. The father wanted the family of Jasmine Pace to know that he was sorry for their loss. Chen was convicted of murdering his girlfriend and stuffing her into a suitcase.

Jason Chen is accused of murdering his girlfriend, Jasmine Pace, stabbing her about 60 times. Chen was indicted by a grand jury on first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse charges. Pace’s body was found in a suitcase off a rural road in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 22-year-old was last seen on November 22, 2022 — the suitcase with her body stuffed inside was found on December 1.
