ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଭୋଟର ତାଲିକା ସଂଶୋଧନ ବା SIR ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି। ପ୍ରାୟ ୫ ମାସ ପୁର୍ବରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଛି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି। ଯେଉଁ ବୁଥରେ ୧୨୦୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭୋଟର ଅଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ କମେଇବା ପାଇଁ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯାଇଛି। ସେହି ହିସାବରେ ବୁଥ ସଖ୍ୟା ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ୟ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଅଧିକାରୀ ସୁଶାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ମିଶ୍ର କହିଛନ୍ତି ।
Preparations have begun in the state for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. The preparatory process started nearly five months ago. Steps have been taken to reduce the number of voters at polling booths that have more than 1,200 voters. Accordingly, the number of polling booths has been increased, said Additional State Chief Electoral Officer Sushant Kumar Mishra.
