I found this near where I am. Posted for FrrEEeee from a garage clean out. Along with a YardMax lawnmower that was broken.
2005 Troybilt
Model : 12A-V566N711
B&S 6.75 Torque / 190cc Engine
Self Propelled FWD
3 in 1 Mulcher/bagger/Side discharge
21” cut
with bag
no side discharge deflector
Completed
replaced wrong plug (Champion CJ8Y) with a used Champion RJ19LM compatible plug (Autolite 458)
power washed
cleaned and rebuilt carb (new Seat part 281144)
set oil to right level , quality of oil was fine
added a little black duct table to the bottom of bag
blade good
air filter good
lubed recoil with wd40
later on I looked up the applications of Plug CJ8Y , It looks like its for a 2 cycle chainsaw , or other 2 cycle equipment and it was NOT intended for this B&S engine. therefore it could of been why the previous owner said it would not stay running.
