To celebrate the heritage of our country, Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, decided to open the palace to the public in 2019. Prior to it's opening, the palace was used only for official purposes, mainly hosting foreign leaders of States and for meetings of the country's Supreme Council and Federal Cabinet.
The palace sits in a 380,000 sqm government complex, equal to 53 football fields!
Qasr Al Watan is more than just a palace, it is a unique testament to the spirit of the United Arab Emirates people and it's leaders.
