I Played Against the RANK 1 Group in Overwatch 2 Stadium

Overwatch 2 Stadium matchmaking is terrible... most of the time. Groups get a huge advantage by being placed against groups of solo queue players. In this game, we got lucky by getting high-ranked capable solo queue players on our team, but the advantages that groups get is that they do not have to worry about getting good or bad luck as they've pre-decided their team, and will often get to go against a couple of good players and several 'filler players' just to make up the numbers.

For a high ranked group, this puts them in a scenario that either gives them an almost balanced game (if matchmaker finds enough equal players), or a game where they have an advantage which means the only requirement to ranking up is to play as many games as possible. This doesn't even consider the advantages gained through pre-determined hero / build synergy, comms, and knowing their team's playstyle before hero selection has even taken place.

Blizzard need to fix their matchmaking system, or remove 'competitive' as it's anything but that when players can gain free advantages over other players.
