To properly learn this Leon Redbone guitar tutorial I recommend first familiarising yourself with the chord arrangement before starting to fingerpick. There are only 3 sections to learn, intro, verse and middle eight. Like many blues songs, it sounds like there is a lot going on but in fact there is quite a bit of repetition. The chord shapes used give the song a jazzy feel, they are well worth exploring to widen your playing styles.
