Hi guys! 😊 Our first winter trip to Oslo blew us away. We only had one evening in Norway's capital, but it packed in so many surprises and festive vibes.
We started with the peaceful Oslo Cathedral, then dove into the lively Spikersuppa Christmas Market. It felt cosy yet chaotic with smoky fire pits, crowds, and queues. Sipping hot gløgg (alcohol free) and grabbing a classic Norwegian hot dog (they really do love them here!) was the perfect way to get into the winter spirit.
The highlight? Oslo Opera House. This stunning building juts out over the water with boat saunas nearby. We climbed the sloping rooftop at night for epic harbour views. It felt truly magical, though we wish we'd seen it in daylight too!
We finished at Oslo Street Food, warming up with delicious bites in a buzzing atmosphere. What a great first taste of Norway.
