Palestinians mark prisoners' day: Solidarity marches for those held in Israeli jails

Palestinians mark Prisoners’ Day on April the 17th. Human rights organisations warn Palestinian detainees are subject to some of the worst conditions in Israeli prisons. They aren’t allowed visits from family, lawyers or doctors, and former detainees tell of torture, abuse and starvation by Israeli prison authorities.
