A friend of mine got a vintage Grand Seiko 45GS as a wedding present from his father in law. When it broke, his father-in-law was somewhat taken back he was no longer wearing it.
He asked me to take a look at it. I haven't been repairing watches that long, and I had no idea what I got myself into.

The movement inside this watch is the 4522-8000, the 4522a with date complication to be exact.
