1999, in preparation for my first trip to Rio I arranged some choros on my Do Souto sete cordas, this one being a Jacob do Bandolim classic, just in case I might find people still interested in this music. As I found, a new generation of choro was in full swing, it had never really gone away, and I was immersed in it, thanks largely to Mauricio Carrilho who encouraged me to keep coming back.
