An historical moment on WWLTV Channel 4 Eyewitness News at 6 PM: Bill Elder and Hap Glaudi welcome iconic Meteorologist Nash Roberts to the team! Roberts, having just come off a 4-year run as the first Chief Meteorologist of WVUE-TV on then top-rated Newscene 8, became the second ever Chief Meteorologist at Eyewitness Weather 4, following Al Duckworth, who was moved to the Eyewitness News 4 Weekend Report, and continuedin this vein thru February 1984. Former NWS Meteorologist Dave Barnes took over in his stead, while Nash spent the next 17 years as Eyewitness Weather Consultant/Hurricane Analyst.
