Do you like wooden boats? Come along and meet my friend, Mike Mayer, who restores wooden boats, and enjoy a tour/discussion about his family fun boat as we relax on Lake Tahoe! We will talk about the wooden boat "industry," Mike's experience being a judge at shows like this one, and some cool facts about his boat that he brought down from Oregon.
This was filmed a few days before the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance Wooden Boat show, where some of the premiere wooden boats in the country come to compete for bragging rights! I highly recommend coming to this show if you are in the Lake Tahoe area. The boats are phenomenal, and the beer/food tastes good as well. If you there on Sunday afternoon, the boats all parade out onto the lake, so you can enjoy the sounds, along with the sights, of these fantastic machines.
