Emilia didn’t like that her husband cared about his mom. Tom would buy her gifts, call her regularly, celebrate holidays with her – all of these wonderful things seemed excessive to Emilia. She wanted to be Tom’s center of attention. So, one day she decided to cut the cord. She bought two tickets to Bali and told her husband they were going on a vacation the next day. Tom was hesitant since his mom’s birthday was coming up. He didn’t want to leave her alone. 

Alas, Emilia managed to convince him to go with her. And that was the first step in her plan to make her husband abandon his mother.
