AN OVERVIEW OF OPEN D TUNING:
I discuss the basics of Open D tuning and go over some chord shapes to get you started.

Changing the tuning of your guitar can provide ideas for new sounds and, ultimately, serve as an inspiration for new songs. Also, tune to open D and use a Capo to explore the open tune shapes in other keys.

I demonstrate two songs that came out of that tuning.
