G Train Action at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues (R46, R68, R68A, R211T)

With multiple R160s being taken OOS at Jamaica Yard for repairs due to flat wheels (seemed to have previously been thought to be caused by a track defect along the F line in the 63 Street tubes but was later corrected by the MTA President to be a track defect near Queens Plaza on the E, M and R lines); the G line was forced to revert back to using R46s, R68s and R68As as its fleet for the time being while repairs are made to the R160 fleet. This is the first time since 2021 that SMEE type fleet has ran in service on the G bringing back a lot of nostalgia to most railfans. Also starting in March 2025, two 5 car R211T Open Gangway sets have started service on the G line for more capacity on trains. After the debut of R211Ts on the G, the R68s and R68As have slowly started moving off of the G as more R46s were being put on the line.
