FINALLY AT THE RING! My Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition on the Nurburgring Nordschleife

It's been a long time coming, but I have FINALLY driven my Ford Focus RS Heritage Edition at the Nürburgring! In fact, I believe it is the only Heritage to ever have done a lap of the Green Hell, and it's absolutely right at home. Come along for the ride to find out!

Driving a lap of the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife is a rite of passage for all Shmeemobiles, but despite spending plenty of time on the continent, this is actually the first time my Heritage RS has been out. The Heritage Edition is one of only 50 cars, made at the end of production of the mk3 Focus RS in Tief Orange, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Escort that launched in the same colour back in 1968. Versus the standard car, the paint colour is unique and they come with the Mountune FPM375 package installed from factory with 25hp more than normal and orange hoses in the engine compartment.

As it turns out though, the car is also right at home at the Green Hell! Having previously driven laps with both my original Nitrous Blue Focus RS, and the Red Edition project car, but finally I can say my Heritage Edition has been around too, and what a drive it is!
