Russian Alexandrov Ensemble Performance in Pyongyang

The Russian Army Academic Song and Dance Ensemble
Named after Alexandrov on a visit to the Democratic
People's Republic of Korea on the occasion of the 75th
anniversary of the founding of the DPRK gave a
congratulatory performance at the East Pyongyang Grand
Theatre on September 9.
Senior Party, government and military officials and artistes
in Pyongyang saw the performance
Present there at invitation were staff members of the
Russian embassy in the DPRK
Put on the stage were wartime and military songs, folk
songs and dances and other numbers showing the ardent
love of the Russian service personnel and people for the
country, and their optimistic life and national customs.
The performance won great acclaim from the audience
Flower baskets in the name of the Ministry of National
Defence of the DPRK and the Russian embassy in the
DPRK were conveyed to the performers.
