GBO2 GM Gatheroad Type (Post-Buff): The new king of 300 cost raids!

This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV1 GM Gatheroad Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 300 cost raid with two melee weapons, great melee damage, good midrange DPS, good mobility alongside overall great stagger output. It suffers from high heat for the primary weapon, needing to stop to fire to use the rapid fire beam guns alongside having somewhat short range for a shooting capable raid. This suit was recently buffed with +2000 HP, 3 seconds dual beam saber cooldown time, better range for the dual beam saber downswing, 17%x6 stagger value for the rapid fire beam guns, 2 more close range slots, 1 more mid range slot and 1 more long range slot. This suit plays so differently after the buffs, it feels like the devs are finally caring about making strong low cost raids. I hope that you enjoy watching!

Its primary weapon is a pair of beam spray guns with 550x2 power, 4.5 seconds cooldown, 90% heat, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 10%x2 stagger value. These have fast swap time but otherwise have mediocre performance on their own, suffering from short range and high heat. It does instant stagger though, so it is important for both your shooting and melee combos.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 1750 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 70% combo modifier. This has pretty solid damage in two hits due to the high combo modifier, but the downswing has a tendency to miss knocked over enemies.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan with 90 power, 20 ammo, 450 RPM, 12 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 150m range, 675 DPS and 7% stagger value. This is a pretty amazing vulcan for 300 cost apart from the very low ammo. It can stagger in 15 hits, which takes 2 seconds, making it a pretty solid approach tool.
Its second sub weapon is a pair of rapid fire beam spray guns with 250x6 power, 10%x6 heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 19 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 17%x6 stagger value. On paper this has amazing midrange DPS and stagger value for a 300 cost sub weapon, but you need to stop to fire which makes the suit very vulnerable. You need to maintain awareness while using this so that you don't get caught out by enemy generals. It can absolutely nuke enemy supports if you can land two bursts.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of dual beam sabers with 2000 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 55%x2 side swing modifier and 140% downswing modifier. This has high power but can only swing once. You can do incredible melee damage if you start and end melee combos using this weapon.

The Gatheroad GM has 13000 HP and 10 in every resist. This is a decent amount of HP but nothing too special, generals will still quickly nuke you if you are caught out of position. Though the suit does have access to not only LV1 Maneuver Armor, but also LV1 Emergency Evasion.
It also has 130 (133 including ground affinity) walk speed, 190 boost speed, 55 thrust and 60 (66 including affinity) turning speed. This is pretty damn good mobility for a 300 cost raid, it handles pretty well.

In conclusion, I feel that the GM Gatheroad has went from being mediocre to being one of the strongest raids at cost, perhaps even the strongest. It has weaknesses such as needing to stop to fire, but otherwise it has an incredibly well rounded kit that most other raids would kill for, since it has both a great melee game and a great ranged game. It obviously isn't invincible though, since it will need to contend with the Acguy Firepower Type. If you can position well and go between close range melee and mid range shooting as needed, I think it can do incredibly well. I only wish that the developers would be willing to buff more low cost raids to this level of strength, or at least close enough to it. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
