This is an example of UFLI Step 8: Connected Text. When students go to read the decodable, this can be done several ways. I typically read it to students first, then students choral read it together, and finally we read it with partners. Sometimes we will read a paragraph at a time individually since we are small group. Reading the decodable can be found in the next video.
