Conversation With My Shadow - Lucid Dream Story

Can you speak to your subconscious in a lucid dream?

I've mentioned before that I like to ask my subconscious questions in lucid dreams, and a few people have asked before what kind of questions I ask or what the process of asking questions looks like. It can range from shouting up at the sky, to speaking to the dream in general, or to talking to dream characters. In today's lucid dream story I share a recent lucid dream in which I encountered a dream character that I believe (after having encountered them many times in my dreams) is sort of meant to represent my shadow or aspects of my self.

Upon asking them a question I get a slightly unusual answer (as is often the case with the subconscious and its cryptic replies), but after analysing it upon waking I was able to obtain some insight from it.
