Given how the purpose of Frantic Factory is to produce an army of killer toys, it has always baffled me how Mad Jack was considered a rejected creation- especially considering how K. Rool entrusted him with one of the keys to K. Lumsy's cage. Though my money's on the voice. After all, how can you take a gigantic, deadly jack-in-the-box that's armed with lasers and a cloaking device seriously when it sounds like Donald Duck. That, or maybe Mad Jack was deemed too uncontrollable and chaotic for standard duty in the Kremling Army.
But on a slightly different subject, given Mad Jack's reject status, I can't help but imagine him ending up on the Island of Misfit Toys, with his verse of the song consisting of him torching the place to the ground with a barrage of lasers while maniacally laughing and brutally crushing any survivors as they flee in terror.
