Day 5 in TET Barcelona - Malaga

Starting early in Alcalá del Júcar, bikes are packed and warming up, ready to go! In spite of late official breakfast time on Sunday morning, hotel owner opened the restaurant and invited us back in for the coffee and muffins - couldn't say "no" to that :)

Sunday! Sunny! The day is warming up! Short moto tour around the old town. First motorcycles on the road. Filling up the tanks and camel bags. All SD cards are full but no luck finding the shop where to buy extra ones on Sunday.

Feels like roads are faster and straighter when moving far to the South... Red clay on gravel roads becomes white with altitude. Lots of olive tree and wineyard plantations around. And not so much enduro sections today. In some places there are dried-out tire prints from our ancestors who had traveled this route when the clay was still wet - which was definitely a challenge for the guys! With all due respect!

The day ends at Inazares - the highest town in the Murcia region, 1350 m above sea level. We could not find a cheap hotel in that area so we started bargaining about local hotel's high prices and two night stay minimum policy. It ended up with the involvement of the hotel owner, administrator, helpful translator and some other 20 villagers gathering around our bikes. Luckily agreement was made and restaurant with the best vino casero and the most delicious BBQ stake was still open!
