This is the third in a series of challenge videos we filmed while we were in Thailand, and this is the first from Chiang Mai, the second city in the north.
Chiang Mai is home to many traditional crafts. Chiang Mai umbrella making is one of its more famous crafts and so it was great fun to go to Bor Sang Umbrella Village and for Terry to turn his hand to creating a masterpiece. Sarah meanwhile met local artist Phet who taught her how to carve elephants from a solid piece of wood.
But the question is, whose artwork was the best - Sarah's or Terry's?

We were in Thailand with Abercrombie & Kent where we undertook a number of challenges with them to take us closer to the Thai experience and culture.
During our trip, we stayed in luxury of course - Abercrombie & Kent is well known for that. In Bangkok we stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, in Chiang Mai at 137 Pillars House, then we finished up with a stay at Banyan Tree Phuket. The accommodation was fantastic, but so was the service.
We were escorted on the trip by A&K guides, Sarah, Joey and Peo, whose knowledge and expertise of our destinations helped us connect ever deeper with Thailand.
But we also got closer to life in Thailand in a way that we hadn't in six previous visits to one of our favourite countries.
