Many poor children in Gaza suffer from Phenylketonuria (PKU), a rare congenital metabolism error resulting from a defect in phenylalanine acid, due to a deficiency in producing a certain enzyme. This results in the accumulation of many harmful substances that require special milk to ensure proper nutrition. PCRF is providing these to children in Gaza who need support that their families cannot give them.
