Join Mama as she reads aloud a new book called "Where Hands Go: An Introduction to Safe and Unsafe Touch" by Krystalynne Sanders Diggs and Illustrated by Ananta Mohanta. This book is a great way to start the conversation with young children about what is safe and not safe concerning other people touching them. One of the most important things we can do as parents and guardians is to give knowledge and empowerment to our children so that they are not taken advantage of by people with bad intentions. Using this book to broach the subject is a perfect way to begin and then you can build on it from there. More read-alouds concerning this topic are coming soon!
This video features Mama reading the book in person so that kids can get the added value of seeing a human mouth form the words, which is the best way to help babies, toddlers, and kids having difficulties to learn how to speak. Mama also does a few simple signs.
