Per Thöresson is a Swedish diplomat and started his career in 1990. From 2014 to 2016 he has been the Swedish ambassador in Switzerland.
Making use of his rich experience in diplomatic affairs in the European Area he holds the office of the Swedish ambassador in Germany since March 2017.
Besides his role as an ambassador, Per Thöresson was the Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations.
