Here we have an example of some home brew folded dipoles that are commonly used in commercial radio communication applications. These are very easy to construct at home with a pipe bender or bending jig made from scrap wood.
The most common commercial method to match the dipole to 50 ohms is via a 75 ohm matching section. The 75 ohm coax the should be of a copper shield to allow termination to a nut and bolt fastened to aluminum with a tag allowing it to be soldered.
Another method of matching is with coax and an example and calculations of this can be found in a previous video called cb radio antenna the gumtree dipole.
