NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi has called out the EC over the irregularities in Uganda’s General Elections, he has questioned why was the internet shutdown, why did the biometric vits fail yet a lot of money was injected into procuring these kits? He has explained the Protest Vote and expresses confidence in winning the coming elections. Additionally voters have expressed their concern about the arrival of Polling materials late as well as the lag due to the failure of the Biometric Voter Verification Kits.
In a new development, he has protested the Victory of NRM's Presidential Candidate Yoweri Museveni, saying that his win was rigged.
