I wanted to refresh myself from Tokyo since I am overloaded and drowning in school work. Spent the whole weekend walking slowly in a city that reminded me of Western Europe's red brick buildings.
I'm a huge fan of 西欧建築 in Japan and Meiji Era, Showa Era stuff — especially when Western and Japanese aesthetics, designs and technologies combine to make a nostalgic lovechild that's somehow, uniquely Japanese. BUT, I'm not just in Yokohama to look at architecture.
I also spent a lot of time sitting in cafés, in bookstores and anime/game shops because even though I love history, I'm still an anime girlie~
